Devin Lynch

President and Chief Executive Officer

Devin Lynch is Chief Executive Officer and President of Transware and also a member of the company's board of directors. As CEO, Lynch is responsible for directing Transware's operations, overseeing its expansion into new global markets and managing the company's growth.

Lynch, who first joined Transware in January 2003, most recently served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. As EVP, he oversaw and shaped Transware's sales strategy and the company's marketing efforts.

Lynch has over thirteen years experience of senior level sales and marketing positions. He came to Transware after holding a number of management positions at SmartForce, now SkillSoft, most recently Senior Vice-President Sales. At SmartForce, Lynch had overall responsibility for all direct and indirect sales in North America as well as Worldwide Alliances and Strategic Partners. Lynch also built the Channel Sales Organisation for SmartForce. Prior to SmartForce, he was the VP Sales for PTS (Personal Training Systems), which was a leader in Multi-media Desktop training.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Human Development from California Polytechnic State University.

Derek Doran

Chief Financial Officer

Derek Doran is Transware's Chief Financial Officer. He joined Transware in early 2005 in order to develop the financial function into a proactive and commercially focused group and to aid the company's drive into new global markets.

Prior to joining Transware, Derek was CFO for the Heye Glas Group in Germany where he was involved in significant financial restructuring activities. Derek also brings a wealth of experience from 12 years with HP and Compaq where he served in accounting, country finance and commercial roles. As Head of Country Finance and Operations with HP, he led the legal and commercial integration activities for the Irish operation as part of the merger of HP and Compaq. During his time there he also pioneered a B2B web enabled direct business model.

Derek is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (B.Sc in Business Management) and completed his ACMA qualifications in 1994.

Martin Delaney

Senior Vice President and General Manager

Martin Delaney joined Transware in 2005 as Senior VP and General Manager of our Ireland operations.

Martin brings to Transware a wealth of business management experience, in the technology world, both hardware and software, and many years in consulting and professional services.

Martin has operated at CEO level for many years with Fujitsu Consulting and FPS Voyager, a software company in the finance sector. He has worked as COO with Norkom and General Manager/VP with Amdahl Martin has held senior management positions outside Ireland with Fujitsu in Scandinavia and with Amdahl in California. His key areas of competency are in operational management, sales and business development, and in organisational effectiveness. A manufacturing engineering background developed through SPS and Braun, and a masters in organisation behaviour (MSc) awarded by Trinity College Dublin.

Martin's role within Transware is to manage the success and growth of the Irish Operations in the contribution to our many world wide customers. Transware have a very ambitious programme of expansion through the deployment of our Globalisation Management tool kit - Ambassador, and bring the processing benefits to our customers. This will be one of Martin's operational priorities.

Bill Franklin

Vice President, Engineering Operations

Bill serves as Transware's VP of Engineering Operations. Bill is responsible for Engineering, Product Management, Product Development, and Quality Assurance/Software Testing activities.

Bill has over 20 years of senior operations and engineering management experience focusing on quality improvement, productivity, and time-to-market strategies. Bill's area of expertise includes software engineering, project management, quality assurance and software testing, and Internet technology and web production.

Previously, Bill worked at GlobalSight Corp. (Transware acquired Globalsight in 2005). As Associate VP of Engineering, Bill was one of the early founding members of the GlobalSight staff; Bill managed the Software Engineering and Software QA testing groups and successfully led them in the design and development of the Ambassador Globalisation Management System.

Prior to joining GlobalSight, Bill was Director of Engineering and Services at The Learning Company, where he managed teams and developed practices that improved on-time delivery of products. He was accountable for improving product quality and providing significant development cost savings. His responsibilities included Engineering, Product Development, Product Internationalisation, Creative Services, and Product Maintenance and Quality Assurance activities across a range of consumer software products. Prior to the Learning Company, Bill was Quality Assurance Manager at Applied Technology Associates.

John Rooney

Vice President, Global Sales

As VP Global Sales, John manages Transware's outside and inside sales team both in North America and in Europe.

John has over 18 years of sales experience in field sales, sales management and senior sales management. John joined Transware after 9 years with SkillSoft (formerly SmartForce and CBT Systems), most recently as Regional Vice President for their Books24x7 subsidiary. John was instrumental in building the sales staff and contributing to integrating the Books24x7 solution into the SkillSoft solution set. Prior to that, he was the Area Vice President at SmartForce responsible for direct sales and services of their e-learning solutions for the Central and Western areas. John started his career in a sales capacity with SRA, an IBM subsidiary.

John holds a BS in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Milen Epik

Vice President, Global Services

Milen Epik has joined Transware in 2005, with the acquisition of GlobalSight. As the Vice President of Global Services, Milen leads a team of globalisation, technical, and project management experts and provides globalisation consulting, internationalisation, process outsourcing, technical integration, deployment and technical support services.

Milen has more than 17 years of experience in linguistic technologies, localisation, software development, consulting and project management, while working with global Fortune 500 companies based in the US and Europe. Prior to Transware, Milen served as the VP of the Professional Services and Customer Support organisations at GlobalSight, responsible for all customer deployments of Ambassador. Upon joining the company in 1999, she created the services business from scratch and grown it to a global 7x24 operation with support teams in the US, Europe and Asia. Milen also brings valuable experience from managing and building the Internationalisation (I18N) Consulting Services practice at International Language Engineering (ILE), a leading localisation company. From 1988 to 1997, she worked at Xerox-PARC, and its subsidiary Microlytics, developing multilingual products and natural language technologies for customers such as Claris, Apple, and Sharp.

Milen studied Informatics at Bogaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey, and holds an MS in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (NLP). She is fluent in English, French and Turkish.
